O vice-governador do Estado de São Paulo, Rodrigo Garcia, autorizou a liberação de R$ 550 mil para aquisição de diversos equipamentos para o Centro Cirúrgico do Hospital de Caridade de Vargem Grande do Sul, no dia 19, enquanto estava na cidade para a inauguração do Poupatempo.
O pedido dos equipamentos foi feito pelo provedor do Hospital, Jair Gabricho, sendo levado ao vice-governador Rodrigo Garcia pelo prefeito Amarildo Duzi Moraes (PSDB), que autorizou os recursos.
Com o valor, serão adquiridos três focos cirúrgicos de teto, caixa com instrumentos cirúrgicos, perfurador ósseo canulado, monitor multiparâmetro, aparelho aquecedor de paciente, coagulador por plasma de argônio, bisturis eletrônicos e aparelho de fototerapia.
Na ocasião, o prefeito agradeceu Rodrigo Garcia pela liberação dos recursos, pois a aquisição desses equipamentos vai proporcionar melhores condições de trabalho para as equipes médicas e certamente incrementará o número de cirurgias.
O prefeito também parabenizou o provedor do Hospital, Jair Gabricho e toda a provedoria, que apesar das enormes dificuldades financeiras da instituição, continuam investindo e trabalhando incansavelmente para melhor atender os pacientes.
O provedor Jair agradeceu ao vice-governador pela verba liberada e ressaltou que o valor é de extrema importância para o Hospital de Caridade, uma vez que os desafios para manter a entidade e adquirir novos equipamentos são enormes por conta dos déficits causados pela pandemia.
O Hospital mantém suas portas abertas 24 horas por dia e mais de 80% dos atendimentos são destinados a famílias carentes. Os repasses do SUS e as verbas municipais e federais não são suficientes para mantê-lo. Por isso, o apoio de todos continua sendo fundamental para que o Hospital de Caridade continue salvando vidas.
