Recentemente, Gisele Franchi, que mora nos Estados Unidos, movimentou dois leilões para arrecadar recursos para o Hospital de Caridade de Vargem Grande do Sul. As ações movimentaram 89 pessoas e arrecadaram a quantia de R$ 7.722,60.
Gisele contou que conheceu o leilão de prendas com a comunidade brasileira que mora nos Estados Unidos e muitas pessoas que não conheciam Vargem Grande do Sul abraçaram a causa e ajudaram com o leilão.
Conforme contou, a princípio, esta seria uma ação local onde a Gisele arrecadaria os recursos e enviaria o dinheiro para o Hospital, mas, pessoas em Vargem também se interessaram em ajudar. Foi então que a Débora Cunha e a Tânia Soares ajudaram a Gisele na organização, mandando mensagens, arrecadando prendas e fazendo a mediação.
Segundo o informado, Gisele se mobilizou com a situação do Hospital, pois teve a Covid-19 no pior momento da pandemia nos Estados Unidos, em abril de 2020. Ela buscou ajuda no hospital em um momento de superlotação, onde pediram para que fosse para casa e só retornasse se estivesse muito mal.
Dois dias depois ela foi internada com pneumonia e grávida de 9 semanas. Gisele ficou internada, se recuperou e felizmente a bebê nasceu saudável. Ela contou que quando viu a situação do Hospital de Caridade de Vargem, não hesitou em tentar ajudar, pois sabe da importância desse hospital para todos os vargem-grandenses, principalmente nesse caos em que a pandemia está.
Ela disse que sabe que a ajuda com os leilões foi singela, mas acredita que a mobilização também possa ter despertado nas pessoas vontade de ajudar.
O Hospital de Caridade agradece à Gisele, Débora, Tânia e demais envolvidos que, com sua doação, nos ajudaram a continuar salvando vidas.
